After an exceptionally thorough and well-executed search process, ADGL’s Search Committee for its first Bishop Coadjutor is pleased to present a slate of two candidates, The Right Reverend C. Allen Kannapell and The Very Reverend Christopher Klukas, for election at this year’s Mission Conference and Synod business meeting on October 17, 2026.
In September, the candidates for our next bishop coadjutor will be traveling to three churches in the diocese for Q&A events so the people of the ADGL can get to know them better before the election at Mission Conference and Synod in October. Each of the events will be live-streamed and recorded, so even if you can't make it in person, you'll still be able to hear from the candidates before voting.
