Advent of 2023, we began a new chapter of ministry with Father Andrew Terry, our rector and pastor. He began his ministry in Lapeer, Michigan being ordained in another denomination for 7 years. He has ministered in various ways in the church through teaching, preaching, and music.
Fr. Andrew is married to Tabitha, and together they have raised two children into adulthood. During this time he attended Lee University earning a Bachelors of Applied Science with focus on Biblical Theology graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2016.
In 2014 Andrew became a board member of a local homeless shelter where he served until 2018 when he and his wife were hired to manage the shelter. In 2020 he was elected as president of the board where he served until his call to St. Anne's in 2023.
His work with the homeless shelter lead him and his family to attend St. Matthew's Anglican Church. There he was mentored and trained to serve in the Anglican tradition, being ordained a deacon in 2022 and a priest in 2023.
Receiving the call to St. Anne's in the Fields Anglican Church of October 2023, Fr. Andrew was installed January 2024.
The leadership and pastoral care of Fr. Andrew has truly been a blessing to St. Anne's. We look forward to all that God will do in our community through our church.
